🎭 Broadway Bash – Solo & Duo Audition Instructions

We’re so excited to open submissions for our inaugural Broadway Bash!

📅 Performance Date: Friday, 19 June at 7:00pm at Ryde Eastwood Leagues Showroom

Rehearsal of show on Sunday 14th June at 2:30pm at the studio.

Please read the instructions carefully before submitting your audition.

⭐ Before You Submit – Key Requirements

• Your performance must be 3 minutes or less

• Choose a song from a Broadway or West End musical, or something with a strong musical theatre vibe

• Open to soloists and duos

• Open to current and past City Kids Theatre cast members

• You may submit up to 3 different solos/duos (please send as seperate files. this also helps avoid multiple people performing the same song)

📲 How to Submit Your Audition

1️⃣ Record Your Audition

1. Introduce yourself and then 

Film your song or routine clearly so we can see and hear you at your best.

2️⃣ Complete the Audition Form

Head to CityKidsTheatre.com and click on “Broadway Bash Auditions” to fill out the form.

3️⃣ Send Your Video via WhatsApp

Send your audition to 0447 777 707 via WhatsApp or upload to YouTube and send link. 

(If you don’t have WhatsApp, it’s free to download and the easiest way to send videos.)

4️⃣ Wait for Results

Successful performers will be announced in a social media post, including who is performing and what songs have been selected.

💡 A Few Extra Notes

• We expect a high number of submissions (we’re drawing from over 10 years of City Kids Theatre performers!), so please don’t be discouraged if you’re not selected this time

• This is something we hope to run twice a year

• There will be a full run through of the show on Sunday 14th June. 

• Some performers who audition may  be invited to perform their solo at our Ready Set Dance concert on Sunday, 28 June at 3:30pm
